A Jazzy Christmas
A Jazzy Christmas – Jo Harrop, Paul Edis and special guests.
Featuring new arrangements of festive favourites penned by pianist Paul Edis and performed by the ‘velvet-voiced’ Jo Harrop alongside a 9-piece band, A Jazzy Christmas is heading to St. Gabriel's Church, Pimlico this December!
You can expect to hear classic Christmas hits such as ‘Santa Baby’ given a big band treatment rubbing shoulders with more contemporary hits like ‘Driving Home For Christmas’ as a Brazilian samba.
You don’t have to be a jazz fan to like this show, but if you are, you’ll be blown away by the standard of musicianship from some of the leading lights on the UK jazz scene Featuring: Freddie Gavita (trumpet/flugel) Robert Fowler (alto sax/clarinet), Matt Anderson (tenor/soprano sax), Rory Ingham (trombone), Gareth Lockrane (flute/piccolo) Johanna Burnheart (violin) Paul Edis (piano/arrangements), Mátyás Hofecker (double bass), Matt Home (drums)
